Our acupuncture is a blend of ancient and modern perspectives and techniques, from both the Chinese and Japanese traditions. We use very thin needles, but always reach the Qi, or energy in the body, as indicated by a slight electric, dull grabbing, or tingling sensation. We often have patients tell us that they feel more 'activity' or sensation throughout the whole body than with other types of acupuncture they have tried, while experiencing very little to no discomfort. Acupuncture can engage with any system in the body, and is useful for a very wide variety of conditions of the body, mind, and spirit.

Evan Bussanich integrates Medical Herbology from East Asia, India, Tibet, Europe, and the Americas; as well as classical and modern Chinese and Japanese acupuncture and classical Homeopathy. An in-depth knowledge of Functional and Integrative Medicine allows him to incorporate nutritional supplementation and dietetics, and western diagnostic exams, blood tests, and imaging to make decisions about care.
